'A distinguished Reflexologist trained to the highest standards in the UK'

Hi, I'm Allison.
I have always been interested in holistic and alternative therapies and having used Reflexology to support me through chemotherapy and help me with nausea and fatigue, I was so impressed with its benefits that I continued to have it as a monthly treatment to destress after the all clear. I needed to look after my well-being after being through so much. I continued to use Reflexology on a regular basis. The benefits were so noticeable. If I just need some relaxation time, or if I needed support through stress and severe illness, its impact was great!
Having experienced how beneficial it was for me, I became motivated to learn more and I embarked on my Reflexology training
My journey
I was taught by David Wayte who is a Fellow of the Association of Reflexologists and the only Reflexologist in the UK to be made a member of the Royal Society of Medicine.

I have been awarded the Centralia Level 5 Clinical Mastership in Reflexology. The highest qualification in the U.K for Reflexology.

I have a full membership of the Association of Reflexologists and I am registered with The Complementary Natural Healthcare Council.

I am fully insured to practice and hold a current DBS certificate.

I have a Level 4 Certificate in Counselling Skills.

Since qualifying, I have treated a diverse range of health conditions and offered Reflexology to the volunteers of a women's charity in York.

I look forward to welcoming you to my new practice in Marygate, York.

Katie Bray
Level 3 beauty
therapy VRQ diploma

Hi, I'm Katie
I am a fully qualified, beauty therapist. I hold a Level 3 beauty
therapy VRQ diploma and have membership of the Guild of beauty therapists. I have several years of experience working in the beauty industry.
I recently participated in a women’s retreat in Scotland which
encouraged me to think more about the mind / body link, and the
importance of treating the body holistically.
I am passionate about Swedish massage therapy because of the
amazing benefits it can have on both body and mind. I have chosen to work with organic products and will be tailoring each facial and massage treatment to suit your requirements.
I look forward to meeting you!

Dr Elizabeth Mackriell,

I'm a Counselling Psychologist based in York. I offer therapy for young people (aged 11+) and adults, providing a safe, supportive space where you can explore challenges at your own pace. My approach is rooted in person-centred values, meaning I see you as the expert in your own life. Alongside this, I use an integrative style, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to help you develop insight and practical strategies that support lasting change. I have experience working with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, bereavement, and emotional regulation. I also work with young people around school-related stress, social difficulties and transitions, as well as supporting those navigating challenges linked to ADHD and autism.
I hold a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology, am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and have an enhanced DBS.
I have availability, in Marygate, every Monday.
You can find more information about me on my Counselling Directory profile.
